Support the independent voice of Houston and help keep the future of Houston Press free.
It's Day 2 at the Secret Saturday Show Festival. Things are getting off to a slow start here. We're guessing a lot of you are recovering from your own secret Saturdays, but if there's anything that will sweat that heat out of you, it's the heat. We just checked the weather and a partly cloudy day means the sun won't be as intense. We're kind of feeling a bit more a breeze compared to yesterday, but the sweat beads are already starting their own party on our epidermis.
Today's bill is set to includes The Mathletes, News on the March, Cory Derden, Teenage Kicks, Dunnock's Ill Advisory, Nosaprise, Paris Falls and more.
This just in: Jen from Paris Falls informed us that they will be taking the stage in about an hour.
Jen (Paris Falls) and shy son Sam (Future member of Paris Fall?)

Keep the Houston Press Free... Since we started the Houston Press, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Houston, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Houston with no paywalls.
