Mary Cutrufello

Mary Cutrufello hasn't moved back to Houston, but we should be seeing a lot more of her. After a three-year performing hiatus to take care of nodes on her vocal cords, she's relocated to Austin from the frozen tundra of Minneapolis. She's just released a blazing new album and is putting a band together, ready to make up for lost time. Certainly one of the hardest-rocking women in roots music, Cutrufello is a triple threat. She writes songs that will scratch your itch, sings 'em like she means it and lays on torrents of stinging licks. Welcome back, then. Don't be a stranger.
