It’s hard to believe that Coral Springs, Florida’s New Found Glory is now entering its 13th year of syrupy-sweet pop-punk carnage. The lineup has remained unchanged the whole time, as lead singer Jordan Pundik’s heartbroken sneer remains indelible. NFG’s self-titled 2000 LP fully took hold of the burgeoning pop-punk scene at the turn of the last decade, giving the band a spot amongst bands like Blink-182 and Houston’s like-minded Fenix TX (nee Riverfenix). By 2008, NFG had amassed enough singles for a hits record and were exalted as scene godfathers somehow fortunate enough to stay true to their roots.
