Two women with very different styles release CDs today. African singer Angelique Kidjo's Djin Djin features duets with Branford Marsalis, Joss Stone, Ziggy Marley, Carlos Santana and Josh Groban. Kidjo, Santana and Groban perform "Pearls" together - not our favorite. But it's the only mis-step in the bunch. We highly recommend this CD. And country girl Miranda Lambert's Crazy Ex-Girlfriend also hits the shelves today. Even though Lambert's getting lots of press and Ex-Girlfriend is flying up the country charts, we're not impressed. Lots of the tunes seem forced and the lyrics are juvenile at best ("I'm a crazy ex-girlfriend! I'm a crazy ex-girlfriend!" All right, already, you're crazy. Whatever.) If you want to check Lambert's title cut out for yourself, click the "Listen" button below (but don't say we didn't warn you.)
