Art Rock

We know, we know. Freaky, huh? That ain't an April Fool's joke either - it's real.

When a friend emailed us that picture Wednesday, Rocks Off knew we had to share it with you, but it took a while for us to come up with the proper musical context. Although that... thing... is actually a jacked-up member of the crawfish family some deep-sea drillers hoisted up from the depths of the Gulf of Mexico, it looks pretty alien to us. So we poked around for a while and found some similarly disturbing sci-fi-themed album covers.

Just the thing for first thing in the morning, right?
