Really, Beyonce? We had no idea. But when Rocks Off read Katharine Shilcutt's hilarious test-drive of Google's auto-fill feature on our sister blog Hair Balls earlier this week, we knew we had to give it a spin ourselves to see what kind of smack the sentence-finisher was talking about some of today's most popular musicians and a few of our old favorites. We started, of course, with Mr. Beyonce. Rocks Off knows Jigga can get pretty arcane in his lyrics, but had no idea he had a hidden agenda... ...and for the South's answer to Jay-Z... ...moving on to some pop divas... ...of course we couldn't forget Ms. Gaga... ...or mouthy "Tik Tok" starlet Ke$ha...
...and now America's Toyota Center-bound sweetheart... ...hope you didn't think we'd leave out the Bieb... ....or the JoBros... ...speaking of the Beatles, of course we had to try this one... ...and this guy, since we're still head over heels about the Exile on Main Street reissue... ...one more super huge mega rich rock star...
...we thought we'd get a lot more prompts with these two words...
...and finally, with the ACL Fest lineup out, we plugged in one of the festival's indie headliners...  We could have done this a lot longer. Have a great weekend!

Keep the Houston Press Free... Since we started the Houston Press, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Houston, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Houston with no paywalls.
