Support the independent voice of Houston and help keep the future of Houston Press free.
The Houston Texans boasted a new coach, new players, down-to-the-wire playoff hopes and their fourth-ever winning record this season. Along the way to 9-and-7, some of Houston's finest and wittiest rappers and DJs shared their game day thoughts on Twitter.
Many, many thanks to all of them for co-authoring this blog all season. To appreciate them more fully in their true element, please look for these busy artists in area venues in 2015 and share some Texans love with them.
Sunday was Fan Appreciation Day at NRG Park, and even the cold rain couldn't keep diehard fans from showing their mutual love and respect for the home team. It wasn't a worst-to-first turnaround, but Sunday's win meant the Texans turned 2013's 2-14 campaign into an aberration in a run of winning seasons this decade. So kudos to them and to these fans at the stadium who came to show support.
Counting down the days 'til kickoff 2015!
