The 2nd Annual Main Street Block Party Announces Lineup

The Main Street Block Party is returning on January 28 to the The Continental Club, The Big Top, and The Mink's front and backrooms, armed with another great lineup, this time featuring Austin's What Made Milwaukee Famous and Dallas' hardcore cataclysm, Power Trip.

The day-long festival was highly successful last year, with our own Chris Gray giving the fest's proceedings great marks for it's compactness, the timing of it as counter-programming to the national acts in town, and of course, the freewheeling nature of the performances.

This year's edition features a reunion set from hardcore act Fight Pretty, who parted ways about two years ago, along with your standard local fare, including our own favorites like the Gold Sounds, Venomous Maximus, and Bang Bangz.

Tickets are now on sale, $10 before the show, and set at $15 at walk-up on the day of. A VIP package can be had for $40, with special perks, a sweet ass wristband suitable for framing, and free booze added to your experience.

Check out slideshows from last year's festival, including the bands and the fans, to begin selecting your wardrobe for the event.
