Support the independent voice of Houston and help keep the future of Houston Press free.

If you're at all like Rocks Off - and God bless you, every one - you spend most of December trying to catch up on all the local music you missed during the previous 11 months. And, well, drinking. Luckily, you can do both tonight at the Mink's Toys for Tots all-star local extravaganza. Here's what's on the docket:

Downstairs

Giant Princess (8 p.m.); Brett Taylor (8:50 p.m.); Paleo (9:40 p.m.); B L A C K I E (10:30 p.m.); Riff Tiffs (11:20 p.m.); Buxton (12:10 a.m.)

Upstairs

Death by Texas (8:25 p.m.); American Sharks (9:15 p.m.); Elaine Greer (10:05 p.m.); Wild Moccasins (10:55 p.m.); News on the March (11:35 p.m.); Wicked Poseur (12:25 a.m.)

Pretty exact set times, but best to allow a little bit of leeway in there. Bring a toy or two for the kiddoes, and careful with that egg nog. - Chris Gray

Keep the Houston Press Free... Since we started the Houston Press, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Houston, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Houston with no paywalls.
