Total Eclipse Of A LEGO

Every day Rocks Off trolls the tubes of you in search of videos to share. If you have something that you think deserves to be video of the day, send a link to jef_rouner at yahoo dot com.

If there are two things that Rocks Off is certain we loved as children in the late '80s and early '90s, it was LEGO and Bonnie Tyler. LEGO's awesomeness needs no explanation, and ever since the thrilling chase scene in Short Circuit 2 set to "Holding Out For A Hero," we have been thoroughly hooked on Tyler's husky vocal stylings.

So when we found out that Go! Le Go! had done a video for "Total Eclipse of the Heart" we made Bieber in our britches. The song version they use is not the original, but rather a cover done by Only Men Aloud, a classical chorus that tackles contemporary songs. However, Ms. Tyler joins the group for the song, so it's not so much a cover as a really impressive redo.

The video itself has sword fights, kung-fu, and a suicide accomplished by falling from a giant LEGO heart. Why are you still reading this? Go watch the damn video!
