Ah, Twitter: It's Apparently Also NBA "All Start" Weekend Too

While Houston finds itself mired in NBA All-Star Game fever, a section of Twitter is watching something called the "All Start Game," with players' names that parallel those of the NBA's superstar-packed weekend.

Follow this link to a Twitter search to see what I mean. One young lad thinks it was stupid for Houston to get the all start game.

Wait, this "all start" game is in Houston???

You know, it's hard to constantly misspell something that is being screamed into your eyeballs nearly 24 hours straight on TV and the Internet, but these kids are beating the odds.

Gud for them. There is a reason I came in second at the fourth-grade spelling bee in 1992.

And now if you will excuse me, I have reservations to my favorite steak house for a flaming young and a pork shop. The umbeyonce there is amazing.

Keep the Houston Press Free... Since we started the Houston Press, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Houston, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism. You can help by participating in our "I Support" membership program, allowing us to keep covering Houston with no paywalls.
