Intoxication manslaughter charges have been filed against a man who prosectors say was drunk when he ran a red light and broadsided an SUV, killing three passengers.

Sajan Timalshina, 25, was driving a Toyota Camry on the feeder road at Beltway 8 and the Eastex Freeway about 1 a.m. Friday. The Spring resident rammed into a Ford Excursion filled with teenagers being driven home from a party by the parents of one.

RaShaunda Raleigh, 17, and Avianca Cortez, 13, died at the scene; Detrihanna Davis, 13, was taken to Ben Taub Hospital and later died there.

The three charges are second-degree felonies; Timalshina has not been arrested at this time. Police say he may have fled to Qatar Nepal.
