Channel 13 reporter Miya Shay has a greatbootleg video
up on her blog showing President Bush at a closed-door River Oaks fundraiser for congressional candidate Pete Olson.
A very loose Bush tells the fawning crowd that Wall Street "got drunk" and is now suffering a hangover. ("That's why I told you to turn the TV cameras off," he adds.)
He doesn't mention his own experience with such things, or of him being an enabler for Wall Street's binge.
Bush also talks about how he wants to live in Crawford post-presidency, but Laura is insisting on Dallas.
Well worth watching, and a nice get by Shay.
