Comment of the Day: Bears & Pterodactyls Along Buffalo Bayou

We have some great commenters here on Hair Balls, and it's time we paid some damn attention to them.

So we'll be highlighting a Comment of the Day each morning, from the previous day's work. Maybe two comments, even.

This will all be determined by a highly rigorous scientific formula involving wit, clarity and whatever else we feel like at the moment.

We offered the latest in artist's renderings of the proposed park enhancements along Buffalo Bayou.

Look at the first one, then see if you agree with one reader's gripes.

What a beautiful blue stream in which to let my dog swim in. How do they get the water so blue? That is a dog swimming, right, and not a bear? And why is that pink pterodactyl flying above its head, trying to eat it or save it? This picture frightens and confuses me. Don't want.
