Comment of the Day: Some People Don't Care About Space Shuttles

We have some great commenters here on Hair Balls, and it's time we paid some damn attention to them.

So we'll be highlighting a Comment of the Day each morning, from the previous day's work. Maybe two comments, even.

This will all be determined by a highly rigorous scientific formula involving wit, clarity and whatever else we feel like at the moment.

We showed an interview in which President Obama disavowed playing any part in the decision not to give Houston one of the retiring shuttles.

Enough with the shuttle yapping, said one reader.

Let's put this in perspective. Would anyone in any city vote for Obama because he gave them a space shuttle? Do most people even care about the shuttles? Probably not. This is lower level government decisions. I doubt NASA gets Obama's opinions about where to place retired space relics.
