We have some great commenters here on Hair Balls, and it's time we paid some damn attention to them.
So we'll be highlighting a Comment of the Day each morning, from the previous day's work. Maybe two comments, even.
This will all be determined by a highly rigorous scientific formula involving wit, clarity and whatever else we feel like at the moment.
We wrote about the stunningly public stabbing death of Aaron Scheerhorn, outside a Montrose club. The item brought forth replies from those on the scene and those who knew Scheerhorn and appreciated hearing the commenter's details.
Debra started things off:
My cousin and I performed CPR on Aaron at the club...I wish peace and justice for Aaron and his family!

Wendy replied :
Aaron was a wonderful friend to many in the community. He will surely be missed. Debra thank you to you and your cousin for performing CPR on Aaron. For those of us that feared he was alone when he passed - there is comfort in knowing people were there to try and help him. Justice WILL be served - this will not be forgotten
And Kara Scheerhorn wrote:
I'm Aaron'a sister and the information we've been getting from the police hasn't painted the full picture about what happened. I can't express how much it means to me and my family to know that there were people trying to save him and that he wasn't alone during his final hours. Thank you so much. I don't know much about his life in Texas, though I hope to learn more, but knowing he friends eases the burden a bit.
