A man was shot to death in a west side apartment complex Friday night after getting into an argument, Houston police say.
Cory Spencer, 27, was walking through the complex in the 12700 block of Rodeo Square about 11:10 p.m. "when he is believed to have become involved in an altercation with several black males," HPD said. "One of those males produced a pistol and chased Spencer a short distance before firing several shots, striking him. The suspects then fled the scene on foot."
Spencer was taken to Ben Taub hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
