On a rainy Saturday afternoon that delayed the contest for more than an hour, Coach Willie Ftriz’s Houston Cougars upset the No. 17 ranked Kansas State Wildcats by a score of 24-19 at TDECU Stadium. This marked the first back-to-back win of the Fritz era. The Cougars were led by Zeon Chriss, who on a perfect passing night threw for one touchdown and ran for another. The defense kept the Wildcats in check, intercepting two passes in critical moments. The Cougars are on a bye next week and will face the Arizona Wildcats on November 15. (Photos by Darrin Clifton).
