Houston homicide police are investigating the death of a baby Wednesday afternoon on the far southwest side of town.
DaLeon Williams, a boy, was found not breathing in his crib about 3:35 p.m. Wednesday while he was at home with his mother and other family members in the 11400 block of Chariot Drive.
He was taken to Memorial Hermann Southwest Hospital and pronounced dead.
Police say "a subsequent autopsy revealed internal injuries not consistent with a natural death."
An investigation is ongoing.
