Death & Hassles At Bush Intercontinental

The tram system that transports travelers between terminals at Bush Intercontinental has been shut down in the wake of an accident that appears to have killed one worker and injured another.

Various media outlets are reporting that a LifeFlight helicopter is on the scene. The accident occurred a little before noon.

KTRK reports one worker was killed, but the airport is not confirming that at the moment. The accident happened on an elevated part of the line.

The tram has been shut down while emergency workers deal with the situation; no word on when it might resume service.
