For the second time in a little over a month, a man has been killed in the 12600 block of Huntington Venture Drive.

Delfino Hernandez, 18, was shot about 10:50 p.m. on November 20 as he sat in a car out on the west side.

Police say another car "containing four Hispanic males pulled alongside. One of the males in the sedan exchanged words with Hernandez and his friends. At that time, one of the suspects then fired a shotgun one time at the car Hernandez was in, striking him in the head."

Hernandez was taken to the hospital, where he died November 25.

On October 23, the body of a man who had been shot to death was found in the same block. Hernandez was also the fourth teen to be murdered in a one-week period this month.

Anyone with information about the Hernandez case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
