Early Morning Shootout At Bronco's Nightclub Leaves One Dead, Three Hurt

A wild ending to the night at a northwest-side nightclub left a security guard firing his pistol, one person dead and three injured, the Harris County Sheriff's Office and media reports said.

Bronco's Nightclub in the 10000 block of Veteran's Memorial was the scene of the incident about 6 a.m. Sunday morning.

Witnesses said a security guard was escorting customers out when an altercation began and someone apparently reached for his gun.Shots were fired, with four customers getting hit, one fatally.

The name of the dead person has not been released. An investigation will be carried out by the HCSO homicide department.
