Eliseo Gonzalez Jr.: 300,000 Child-Porn Images Weren't "Perverted"

Federal investigators were looking into a members-only web message board dealing with child pornography and noticed one enthusiastic user named "panchovilla."

They eventually traced panchovilla to a Channelview arrest, which happened to be the residence of one Eliseo Gonzalez Jr., 30.

Armed with a search warrant, they went to Gonzalez's house and confronted him.

Gonzalez had an explanation for them, according to the U.S. Attorney's Office: He "told agents he did use the screen name 'panchovilla' to access a bulletin board but that he did not think it was perverted."

A subsequent examination of the computer found 300,000 images of child porn.

Maybe none of them lived up to Gonzalez's definition of "perverted," which must be pretty out there. (Or maybe to him, two adults having sex is perverted.)

Gonzalez entered a guilty plea yesterday and faces up to ten years imprisonment and a maximum fine of $250,000.

Sentencing is set for February.
