Officials have yet to decide whether to file charges against a woman who they say stabbed her boyfriend during an argument over his drinking habits.
Ernest Ray DeWalt, 53, came home to his place near downtown late Saturday night and met his girlfriend.
The two began arguing, during the course of which, police say, the woman pulled out a knife and stabbed DeWalt in the neck. She told police she was acting in self-defense.
The incident happened in the 5200 block of Market Street. The woman was questioned and released and the case will be referred to a grand jury.
