A man was shot and left for dead on a southwest suburban street early Saturday morning, police said.
Harry F. Collins, 34, of Houston, "was driving home and, for an unknown reason, stopped his vehicle approximately two blocks from his residence," HPD says.
He got out on foot in the 11500 block of Evesborough "and was shot one time by an unknown suspect who fled the scene," police say.
In the early morning hours, a neighbor saw his body in the street and called police. There are no known witnesses, suspects or motives at this time.
