We have to admit we know little about Antonio Sabato, Jr. beyond the fact that we're pretty sure his dad is named Antonio Sabato, Sr.

But according to this announcement from Reality Wanted, a website that casts reality-show contestants, Sabato is "one of the worlds most sensual, exotic and sexy male heartthrobs...His legions of female fans have lusted after him on some of the most recognizable soap operas."

He's also a classy guy who shuns publicity (in his own way) -- he'll be hosting a reality show where women will compete to be his "new love."

And they're holding tryouts in Houston!

According to one report, anyway.

The casting call is seeking "Gorgeous, refined, and glamorous single women at least 21, who are young and vibrant in their appearance."

All applicants are asked to leave their dignity at the door.

Keep the Houston Press Free... Since we started the Houston Press, it has been defined as the free, independent voice of Houston, and we would like to keep it that way. Offering our readers free access to incisive coverage of local news, food and culture. Producing stories on everything from political scandals to the hottest new bands, with gutsy reporting, stylish writing, and staffers who've won everything from the Society of Professional Journalists' Sigma Delta Chi feature-writing award to the Casey Medal for Meritorious Journalism. But with local journalism's existence under siege and advertising revenue setbacks having a larger impact, it is important now more than ever for us to rally support behind funding our local journalism.
