"Jeroni White Feather": Who Is She?

Update: We're told she has been identified.

Harris County investigators are looking for information to clear up the mystery of a woman's body found wearing men's clothes with a plaintive note in a pocket.

The woman, 5-2, 100 pounds, believed to be between 25 and 40 years old, was found in Spring Friday. Investigators say "she was dressed in male clothing" and "her hair was styled in a crew cut that appears to have been growing out for several weeks."

In the woman's pants pocket was a note in Spanish that said "Rosa, you are with me, I am you. You are my strength, I am your strength. Jeroni white feather."

Another clue: She was wearing a blue -twine necklace that had a white tag attached with "a Catholic version of the Virgin Mary," according to the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences.

Anyone with information on the woman is asked to call 713-796-6774 or 713-796-9292.
