A 78-year-old woman was found dead on the living-room floor of her home near Bush Intercontinental Airport, the victim of lacerations and blunt trauma, police say.

A neighbor of victim Joyce Cleveland was awakened by barking dogs and saw two unknown male suspects enter Cleveland's home in the 7200 block of Willowtex shortly after midnight today, police say.

A second neighbor then knocked on Cleveland's door and got no response. Police were called and patrol officers entered the house and found her body on the floor.

Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
