It was a stab 'n run.
Julio Espitia, 35, was in the parking lot of his apartment complex at 10910 Gulf Freeway early Monday morning, police say, when he started arguing with a man.
At some point, police say, the man cut and stabbed Espitia several times. He died on the spot.
Police say they only have a vague description of the knifeman and do not know the motive.
Anyone with information about this case can call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
