The Los Vaqueros Rio Grande Trail Ride Association was established in February 1973. They’ve participated in the Houston Rodeo for 44 years. They have the longest trail ride of all covering 353 miles with 50 riders and four wagons. The group ended their journey at Memorial Park alongside other trail riders to kick off this year’s festivities. All photos by Doogie Roux.
