What, you think we wouldn't have a take on the whole no-landscaping-for- gays story? Heck, we've got an exclusive...
In case you haven't heard (maybe you've been working in the garden), folks are up in arms about a local landscaping company that denied service to a gay couple this week for no other reason than that they were, in fact, a gay couple. We've been flooded with angry e-mails ever since.

Dear Mr. (Name left out for privacy),
I am appreciative of your time on the phone today and glad you contacted us. I need to tell you that we cannot meet with you because we choose not to work for homosexuals.
Best of luck in finding someone else to fill your landscaping needs.
All my best,
Sabrina Todd and Sabrina Farber Owners, Garden Guy, Inc.

Intolerant? Seems like it. But hey, to Sabrina's credit, she did offer all her "best," right?
The owners of Garden Guy have been refusing media interviews, but the Houston Press managed to talk to one of them before they adopted that duck-and-run policy. The (admittedly not very enlightening) interview will appear in next week's Hair Balls column.
