A 15-year-old kid was killed in a southwest-side drive-by shooting Monday night, Houston police say.

Both the victim, Ruben O. Agostadero, 15, and his companion, Raul Pillado, 16, suffered multiple gunshot wounds. Pillado is hospitalized in guarded condition.

HPD says the two were standing outside in the 10000 block of Club Creek about 8 p.m. when a white Ford F-150 pickup drove up, and "someone inside" opened fire.

Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call HPD's homicide division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.

The murder was the third killing of a teenager within the past week. Xaiver Rubio, 17, was killed Friday, and Marcos Juarez, 18, died Sunday.
