Sedric Johnson: Charged With Three Rapes In Two Weeks

Police have arrested a man and charged him with committing three rapes over the course of two weeks at two southwest-side apartment complex.

Sedric Lynn Johnson, 20, is also charged with aggravated robbery in each of the incidents. Police say he would force women at gunpoint into a vacant apartment where he raped and robbed them. In at least one case, HPD says, he fired his pistol into the air.

The rapes occurred at the Mills Apartments at 10225 Bissonet on May 20 and May 27, and at an apartment complex at 9803 West Sam Houston Parkway on June 3.

He was arrested without incident Saturday.
