On a pleasant and cloudy Saturday afternoon at Sugar Landโ€™s Constellation Field, Houston Texansโ€™ defensive end J.J. Watt and his teammates participated in the inaugural J.J. Watt Charity Classic softball game in front of a capacity, sold-out crowd. The teams were naturally divided between the Texansโ€™ Offense, who wore red and were lead by quarterback Matt Schaub, and the Texansโ€™ Defense, wearing white and lead by both Coach Bun B and J.J. Watt. The festivities began with a home-run derby, which was ultimately won by Matt Schaub. The game itself was mostly controlled by Team Offense, but a late rally by Team Defense and a walk-off homer by Texanโ€™s safety Shiloh Keo sealed a win for J.J.โ€™s squad with the final score of 19-18. The event raised over $300,000 to fund middle school athletic programs and after-school activities both in Wattโ€™s home state of Wisconsin as well as here in Texas. PHOTOS BY MARCO TORRES
