An abandoned baby was found dead in a Dumpster on the southeast side this morning, police say.
The baby‘s gender was not released was female, and further investigation is ongoing.
The body was discovered in an apartment complex in the 4400 block of South Shaver late this morning, police say.
Whether it was abandoned live or after it died, whoever abandoned the baby would face criminal charges.
