Support the independent voice of Houston and help keep the future of Houston Press free.
Things you don't want to discover in the Dumpster: A partially decomposed body.
But that's what employees of a northside business discovered about 2:30 yesterday, police say.
Blood was seen on the woman's clothing and in the parking lot, they say, but "due to the level of decomposition, no wounds were visible and the victim's cause of death is pending an autopsy."
The Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences is working to identify the victim.
Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
