The body of a female was found on the side of a southeast-side road Friday morning, and police are trying to track down any relatives.
The woman, who police say suffered "sharp force trauma to her body," was found in the 4100 block of River Drive about 8 a.m. December 16.
HPD says she was 31. "At this time, investigators have been unable to locate any family members or receive information on the woman's whereabouts prior to her being found deceased," police say.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
