A man has been charged with murder in the stabbing death of his roommate, even though he told cops "the victim fell on his knife during an argument."
Hilario Soliz, 44, has been charged with the murder of a 51-year-old man whose name has not been released. The incident happened about 5:15 a.m. Friday, police say.
Officers responded to a stabbing call in the 1900 block of West Main "and found the victim lying on the floor with multiple stab and slash wounds," HPD says.
Soliz had an explanation: "Soliz, the victim's roommate, told investigators the victim fell on his knife during an argument." Numerous times, we guess.
