A tag team of drive-by killers left a man dead in a southside apartment complex Saturday night, police said.
The man, whose identity still has to be verified, had been driving a car that smashed into two parked cars at an apartment complex in the 5000 block of Sunflower. When police investigated, they found the man dead at the wheel from gunshot wounds.
Witnesses told police a truck had driven by the vehicle and fired shots at it, followed moments later by a car that did the same thing.
Anyone with information on this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
