The body of a man who had walked "for some distance" after being stabbed repeatedly was found in a westside apartment complex Sunday morning, police say.
A resident of the complex, in the 1600 block of Blalock, discovered the body lying in the center of an open area about 7:30 a.m. and called police.
The victim, whose identity is pending verification, was pronounced dead at the scene. Investigators say he "had walked for some distance before he collapsed in the complex." They have no witnesses or suspects.
Anyone with information in this case is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
