A man walking along the 1400 block of Tarberry Sunday evening died when he was shot from a passing truck, Houston police say.
The 24-year-old male, whose name has not been released pending notification of family members, was walking in the northside neighborhood about 7:15 p.m. when, witnesses said, "a black Ford F-150 pickup truck pulled alongside and someone inside the truck shot him," police say.
He was shot in the head and pronounced dead at the scene, HPD says.
Anyone with information is urged to contact the HPD Homicide Division at 713-308-3600 or Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
