Police are investigating a possible drive-by shooting just south of the La Porte Freeway on Thursday night.

Officers got a call just before 9 p.m. about a shooting along the 10100 block of Lucore Street. When they arrived, a young man, 25 to 30 years old, was dead. He had been shot multiple times. Police have not released his name.

Police say it may have been a drive-by-shooting. Neighbors and witnesses told investigators that a small car was seen speeding away after the gunfire. One of the shooters was apparently wearing a red bandana over his face.

Anyone with information about this case can call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
