What's Today's Method Of Spreading Racism Throughout The Houston Fire Department? The Radio!

Another day, another racist incident at HFD. And another press conference for officials to talk about how shocked and appalled they are, and how action will be taken, stuff will not be put up with, we are the world, etc.

This morning, anyone listening to one of the department's radio frequencies was able to hear some good ol' HFD racism. And so a press conference has been scheduled, for this afternoon. We'll be there, to see what's different from what they said at the news conference yesterday.

The women who found themselves to be the subject of racist and sexist graffiti have hired an attorney, by the way, so all this isn't going away anytime soon.

A noose (allegedly), graffiti, the radio -- what's next? We can only hope the Internet doesn't hear about all this. Message boards can be rough.
