You're only supposed to call 911 for emergencies, and Willie Avery of Corpus Christi clearly thought he had one.
He had given a man ten bucks to go buy him some weed, and the man had shockingly not returned. So naturally Avery called the cops.
At first he tried to say he was beaten and robbed, KRIS-TV reports, but eventually the truth came out.
To prove his point (for some reason), he showed cops his cell phone with the 911 call on it.
He was charged with a misdemeanor of filing a false report over the beating claim, but apparently was weedless enough that no drug charges were filed.
