Bold Rock Brings Best-Selling Hard Cider, Tea & Lemonade To Houston

H-Town has a new craft option to add to the cooler this summer or enjoy at the favorite watering hole and we’re not talking about a small startup, no Bold Rock Hard Cider is the best-selling regional craft cider brand in the United States. Founded in Virginia in 2012 by John Washburn (Brand Visionary) and Brian Shanks (Master Cider Maker), Bold Rock has established a powerhouse presence on the East Coast and Houston has the honor of being the newest and most westward territory for the award-winning craft cider brand.
Their wide array of refreshing and easy-drinking cider styles generally lands at a seasonable 4.7% ABV and includes notables such as their flagship Granny Smith apple blend known as Bold Rock Apple, and a new seasonal variety perfect for taking the edge off those blistering Houston afternoons – Watermelon Cider. Bold Rock’s hard cider is crafted from fresh Blue Ridge Mountain apples and nicely lands in the middle of sweet and dry with a crisp, clean finish. Honestly – this is good liquid and should find strong early favor with cider lovers or be a fun and flavorful change of pace for the beer or wine drinker.
But wait, cider not your thing? Bold Rock also has you covered across a few other exciting beverage categories like hard tea and hard lemonade.
