Win tickets to Bayou City Art Festival this October!
Houston’s largest art festival showcases the work of 300 artists from around the world, representing 19 different art disciplines.This year’s featured artist, Clifton Henri is an award-winning photographer and visual artist from Chicago.
A portion of the proceeds from the festival benefit the 2019 Bayou City Art Festival Downtown nonprofit partners: A Cause to Give Us Paws, Fresh Arts, Houston SPCA, Museum of Fine Arts, Houston, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Greater Houston/Galveston, The Arc of Greater Houston, University of Houston - Clear Lake Art Gallery and Volunteer Houston.
The outdoor event attracts more than 20,000 people into the heart of Downtown Houston and offers visitors the opportunity to meet exhibiting artists, view original works, and purchase world-class art, prints, jewelry, sculptures and more with a great variety of pricing. There’s something for everyone!
Bayou City Art Festival is a fun and interactive outdoor fine art festival for people of all ages, featuring a selfie art wall. Guests can also walk the streets of Downtown and sample Community Coffee and Outsiders Pizza Company.
Everyone is invited to enjoy art, non-stop live music performances at the City Hall tent along with food trucks, food vendors and beverage stations as well as additional entertainers throughout the festival.
For the kids and those young at heart, the Children’s Creative Zone features art activities hosted by the festival’s nonprofit partners, and includes Caricature Artist Bonnie Blue; Jennifer Lang, who specializes in creating over-sized, captivating bubbles for all to enjoy.
Online tickets are on sale until the day of the event at www.artcolonyassociation.org. Tickets online are $12 for adults and $5 for children 6-12; children five and under are free. Tickets at the gate for adults are $15 cash; $16 credit card. Also available online are two-day passes for $20 and family passes (two adults, two children tickets) for $30.
Parking is available at 1100 Smith Garage, the official parking sponsor for Bayou City Art Festival Downtown. A $10 cash-only flat rate is available to festival visitors.
