Best Late Night: Frank’s Pizza

Late night’s got names like Carson, Conan and Colbert. In Houston, Frank’s is the big name synonymous with late night. The downtown Houston, New York-style pizzeria has been the city’s go-to afterhours slice for years. Once the weekend rolls around, expect to see or be seen in the line of post-show, afterparty diners looking for some cheesy, bready, foldable nourishment.

A perfect bite of any food comes down to two things, really. Flavor, which Frank’s Pizza has in abundance over a diverse menu which features more than just pizza (but, c’mon – you want pizza at 2 a.m., don’t you?) and availability. The world’s most spectacular morsel means nothing if it’s locked away where we can’t relish it when we really need it – past midnight. At Frank’s, you can get that perfect bite right up ‘til 3 a.m. on the weekends but it’s also a good choice for lunch or dinner, in-store or via delivery. Conan and Colbert can keep the laughs, because late night is serious (and seriously tasty) at Frank’s.
