If you find yourself with some last-minute Christmas shopping to take care of on Christmas Eve, you might be in luck. Many stores have expanded their hours on December 24 to ensure that you have everything you need for the perfect holiday.
If, however, you find yourself inexplicably out of cream for your mashed potatoes on Christmas Day, well, sorry! Only a few grocery stores will remain open on Christmas Day, and those that do will generally have shortened hours to allow employees to spend time with their families. (A move we applaud.)
Of course, if your Christmas dinner goes completely awry, check out our list of local restaurants open on the holiday. There's absolutely nothing wrong with letting someone else do the dishes as a Christmas gift to yourself.
