Houston beer lovers, it’s time to start getting excited about the 2016 Houston Press BrewFest event. No matter what style you love, you’ll find it at this popular annual tasting event. Beers from 38 local, regional and national breweries have already been confirmed. (The extensive list is below.)

Food from Buttz Food Truck, Chubbz Grubbz and Fuzzy’s Taco Shop will be available for purchase onsite for when guests need more ballast to balance out all the beer.

Positive Disturbance, Lost Element and Hounds of Jezebel will keep the party jamming all day with live music.

Take advantage of the early-bird pricing while you can. An individual general admission ticket is currently $30 and includes eight 3-ounce beer samples. The $55 VIP ticket allows for entry an hour early with access to a special area with free appetizers and special beers that will be poured only for VIP ticket holders. The event runs from 3 to 7 p.m at Silver Street Station, 1501 Silver Street. (VIPs get in at 2 p.m.)

The best deal on general admission tickets is the "Beer Me" Pack. It's four tickets for $80, which means it's a $10 savings per individual ticket. So, get in touch with your beer-loving pals now and start making plans.

The last day for early-bird prices is Thursday, April 7. The following day, regular prices take effect.

Leave the kids at home for this one. BrewFest is only for people 21 and up with valid ID.
