Word traveled quickly about Christine Ha’s first pop-up dinner on Saturday, September 14. The season 3 MasterChef winner took over the kitchen at MKT BAR inside Phoenicia Specialty Foods to serve guests a “farewell to summer” dinner. Guests feasted on a crunchy and sweet green papaya salad inspired by her winning dish on MasterChef, chicken wings caramelized in fish sauce and chicken wings coated in a spicy red bean paste, as well as a Thai-inspired dessert with coconut milk, tropical fruits and jelly.
